I hold and cherish and protect their right to vote and believe as they see fit as much as I do mine and yours. I also ignore them so I can focus on what needs to be done by every single one of us to right this ship for it takes undivided focus.
And yes -- I have spoken with Trump supporters in person. Thank you for inquiring. But, as of perhaps a year or two now I always sign off with "you might be right" it shuts them up and lets me move on and distance myself from what is nothing short of hallucination on their part.
I've even had one almost run me down along with other protestors peacefully standing in front of Town Hall in a small town south of Boston on a sunny day -- aimed directly at us passing alongside so close one small move would have resulted in loss of life and limb -- at a high speed.
I've given them a decade before shifting my focus to what I can do about it. Volunteering at the polls. Protesting. Postcard and signature gatherings. And looking out for those in my community who may need a ride or company as they fearfully exercise their right to vote.
So, today I'm too busy committed to not allowing the mess we adults made of this world fall into the hands of our innocent children. I am most definitely distracted and not stuck in the mud focusing on Trump supporters. Not at all.
Stay calm! Carry on! Unite! Engage! Prevail! No one is coming to save us. We are the "one" we have been looking for.
