I read a story only days ago about the cost of insulin in America, because of your healthcare system, when it literally costs pennies to produce. Being locked up, probably illegally, in a detention centre, and having to rely on those people to provide you with food and insulin at the proper times, merely to stay alive, must be absolutely terrifying. And I'm sure that diabetics aren't the only ones in precarious positions. So, thank you, again, fo bringing this to our attention. Your work is amazing.

If Democrats take control of Congress, I hope their first instinct isn't revenge. The United States has already been through enough political warfare.
The first job should be repair.
Spend those two years getting the books straight. Find out what has happened to government departments, public finances, contracts, institutions and America's relationships overseas. Preserve the records and evidence. Rebuild proper oversight and put safeguards back in place where they have been weakened.
Don't rush into a wall of subpoenas simply because you suddenly have the power to issue them. There will be a time for proper investigations and accountability, but they should be methodical, evidence-led and difficult for anyone to dismiss as political retaliation.
The country needs a bandage before it needs another battle.
Democrats also need to remember that winning power wouldn't mean winning permission to spend two years talking exclusively about Donald Trump. People still have mortgages and rent to pay. They still need healthcare, decent jobs, affordable food, secure borders, functioning infrastructure and confidence that their government actually works.
That requires a strong and consistent Democratic programme across Congress: repair what has been damaged, stabilise the country and demonstrate what competent government looks like.
And while that work is being done, keep the receipts.
Accountability doesn't disappear because it isn't immediate. Build the evidence carefully, establish what happened and who was responsible, and make sure any eventual investigations are based on facts rather than political theatre.
If Democrats inherit enormous political power, the greatest demonstration of that power might be showing enough restraint not to abuse it.
Repair first. Stabilise second. Investigate properly. Then let the evidence determine accountability.
The objective shouldn't be revenge on Trump.
It should be making sure that no future president—Democrat or Republican—can do the same things without effective checks and consequences.

Why are you not saying about what you will deliver for constituents in the first 100 days? Why is the focus not primarily on helping the people first? Dancing on graves and getting off on the win granted by a desperate and exhausted people should be the absolute furthest thing from your minds. Where's the humble servant of the people focused on the job at hand? Who is the adult in the room?
