Don't rely too heavily on the military not following illegal orders. I've read but not confirmed yet that 47 ordered the DOJ last Spring to start preparing The Insurrection Act for implementing this Fall. If anyone can confirm or refute this please share.
I will credit Bush for one thing: Was reading to an elementary class when Mr. Card informed of recent happenings. Bush kept his cool, and completed the task at hand. Probably made the class feel much better than a President running out on a group in the middle.

No Middle Class, No Government Assistance or Programs, Like Social Security, Medicare, Medical Assistance, Etc., Whose Humanitarian Idea Was Birthed Out Of The Great Depression, And Championed and Instituted By President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, Which Created Stability, A Baby Boom, And A Dream Of Middle Class Modest Wealth!!! And, Very Unfortunately, Has Since Been Attacted By The Entire Republican Establishment, And Will Continue To Be Until The Next Depression In The 2030's!!! And Then, Who Will Champion "The Great Idea" Again!!!??? And, It's Not Liberalism or Conservatism!! It's Simply "Humanitarianism"!!!
