An Epstein judge who's done waiting, Hegseth's 2028 daydream, and the Democrat who won't play nice — a Saturday reckoning with the people who'd rather you look away
I agree with you on this. too much of American politics today is about creating noise, drama and distractions while the real problems are sitting right in front of people. The media stories change every day,but the people affected by these decisions are still waiting for real answers. We need more reporting that question power instead of protecting it.
Contempt against Trump’s lawyers? It is way past time! If Meuller and Garland had treated Trump’s legal team like any other criminal defendant’s, these clowns, including Todd Blanche, Jon Eastman, and Rudy Giuliani, would have been jugged back in 2017, if not back in the 1990s. Trump hires such incompetent sleaze whose legal tactics are delay, delay, delay, and that worked in Georgia and Florida. Why didn’t prosecutors, including Jack Smith, file to drop the hammer at the first sign of trouble?
Warren, I too hope someday we will get an explanation for the various delays by Garland. Just as now, we have delays in holding Hegseth to account for the unlawful bombings of boats at sea and his reprehensible treatment of our military. There is no excuse for letting Blanche continue to hide the rest of the Epstein files. In my not so humble opinion, neither of these DJT creatures deserve a minute in the roles they have been given.

I still cannot understand why none of Epstein/Trump's victims have cashed in with a tell-all book. It would be an instant best-seller, and it would end Trump's presidency as surely as an election loss! That 13-yr. old's story rings true. Trump has long been fascinated by teeny bopper girls, and held "beauty pageants" for 12-14 yr. olds many times that were more meat market than pageant.

Are we supposed to be impressed by and proud of yet another judge who valiantly approaches making a decision to hold yet another lying SOB in contempt. Don't they realize that threats don't punish and seldom prevent. Just imagine the misery that could have prevented if ONE judge had thrown the contempt book at the Great Offender and tossed him in jail for a few years. But, noooooooo, he had to begin the long string of contempt threats that only empowered the Orange Slime Monster. And we're still paying the price. Thanks Judgie! Better luck next time. (sigh)
