They don’t want the Dem Kentucky governor to appoint a Dem in his place it’s so obvious and they may get away with it. Sometimes you have to wonder why the democrats let magats get away with stuff at least call it out in public geez

I believe the Republicans legislated that the Governor could not appoint a replacement. It is their way of cutting the Democratic Governor's power; thereby immasculating him. The only way Republicans can win is by cheating.

The Dems handed us Trump twice with their own corruption. Both are controlled and owned by the same filth.

How about a FaceTime visit with, say, any duly elected Democrat? I mean, couldn't he squeeze it in, between all those 20-minute phone calls he's having with his fellow Republicans? You know - just so we can see that he's still alive?

Yes, why not, that would solve whatever issue that’s going on!!

How about a quick Face Time with the media? 😉

Ok so this sounds like another Republican clusterfudge and I'm willing to bet McConnell isn't "talking" to anyone and knowing McConnell's history another screw over of his own electorate is his MO!

I don’t feel much sympathy. His daughters don’t have a relationship, from what I read several years back. Elaine is in China. N the blame for trump is absolutely on his shoulders!!

And we the people are paying/suffering for it! trump n his cabal must go!!! Treason is a crime!!!

This is total bullshit. If that fk’r is dead or incapacitated it should be revealed by law!!!! How is there HIPPA if we foot the bill for him ? Isn’t that a conflict in itself ? WE PAY his fkn healthcare. WE PAY his god damned salary. He got rich ON US. I’m sick of politics in this country. It’s beyond corrupt and likely beyond repair.

I’ll still vote and never for a republican. Ever.

Maga could care less about Mitch...all they care about is his vote whether he is dead or alive

And he still holds a seat!

Based upon my decades practicing as an RN (long retired now) & 15 years as a CPR instructor at the large medical facility that was part of the county agency where I worked, I will share my opinion.

An extremely frail 84 year old who needed CPR by first responders has an very poor prognosis.

If they are keeping this person alive via life support, with very little chance of survival off life support, I personally find that cruel.

And again in my opinion, the chance of any sort of "recovery" for such a patient is near 0.

The longer someone is on life support, especially given the condition of the person before the crisis, the greater the chances of many, many complications.

Not to mention in the past didn't he fall several times ? His health was always in question prior to this life event. Very suspicious that when they found him he was unconscious which leads one to believe what you said he's on life support.

Which dangling him there on that until November is cruel elder abuse.

All hell would break loose and somebody would be outside the hospital door if the Dems tried to pull this 💩. js

Obfuscate the truth and screw the constituents. The GOP's standard operating mode.

Tori lawson's avatar

If that’s the truth, then let’s hear his voice. Let’s hear him speak on FAUX propaganda. Let’s hear him say something because all three of these guys that you just named are all freaking liars and we know they’re all freaking liars.

On important matters (anything related to Red Tie) Red Tie could always claim he knows how Mitch would vote.

Nevada S. Huaute's avatar

Of course! Red Tie is a certified psychic Medium, don'tcha know....

Mind you...in every other way, Red Tie

(a.k.a. "The Criminal Creamsicle")

is a XXXXXXXXXXXXXL. 😉

Please clarify Senate voting rules. Must a Senator be present in the Senate chambers to be allowed to vote?

BO'K's avatar

I think he's brain dead and the Kentucky GOP is pulling a fast one so Massie doesn't throw his hat into the ring. So much for the oath taken to defend the Constitution.. Very disrespectful to Mitch if someone talked his family into keeping him on life support until after Aug 3rd.

Bren M's avatar

Massie should file to run either way.

Connie Larsen's avatar

Yes! He is a little more sane

Moscow Mitch did his very best to protect battling Americans from outbreaks of competence.

Donald is most appropriative.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
