Thank you for this. It made my skin crawl to think of people spending the last few decades modifying this technology, in order to better attack other people. I don't know why it hit me this way, this time: obviously I know that war, & weapons, have been around as long as we have. But the way in which this was written really made me understand that there are two different kinds of people. All the time, while I, & millions like me, have been bringing up children & grandchildren; drawing & painting; playing with cats; yearning for a dog; watching the passing seasons unfold around us... There have been god knows how many other people gleefully putting together new ways of, they hope, shattering the worlds of others. They might be the scientists, engineers, politicians etc., who do the actual work involved. Or they might be just the people who live next door. Whatever it is that makes them think, or feel, this way, & how many of them there are, I can't begin to imagine. But they obviously feel that their way is the right, best, & probably only way to live, to be a human being. It seems so alien to me, to be interested in hurting, & killing, others. Anybody. For any reason. We all look the same, but inside, we couldn't be more different. I despair.
Make no mistake Trump and Miller will use it on American citizens.
