There have been more than three people killed by DHS. There’s been NINE, at least.

What about Keith Porter? There have been at least four people murdered 😢.

Caffeine Fueled Confessions's avatar

Yes.

Keith Porter Jr., a 43‑year‑old U.S. citizen and father of two, was fatally shot on New Year’s Eve outside his apartment complex in Northridge, Los Angeles, by an off‑duty ICE agent.

What’s known from reporting:

- DHS says the ICE agent believed Porter was an “active shooter” and claimed Porter pointed a rifle at him.

- Porter’s family and neighbors dispute that account, saying he was firing celebratory New Year’s Eve shots and that the agent did not identify himself.

- There is no video footage of the shooting, and much of the incident remains unclear.

- Community advocates and civil rights groups have called for charges and an independent investigation.

Spread the word:

There are hundreds of FD-302 forms in the Epstein files filled out by the FBI. They are extremely informative about tips filed by victims. Why are those forms not showing up as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act?

Joel, we think you know why

Three American citizens are confirmed to have been killed by ICE agents in the past year or so.

32 people total have died in ICE custody last year: the highest number in 20 years.

This year, in public, outside for detention custody (that we know of)

→ Keith Porter

→ Renee Goode

→ Alex Pretti

→ Linda Davis

What is more sad, is the fact that Linda Davis's death is severely oveooked. I wonder why that is.

Sadly, this article is a prime example.

As are a handful of the comments within this article.

Will you please clarify the Russians losing their internet ; is that all Russian citizens or selected citizens who possibly have signaled dissent?

Caffeine Fueled Confessions's avatar

Short answer: Russia isn’t “losing” its internet, but the government is aggressively restricting and disrupting it (especially mobile data) to the point that daily life is being seriously affected.

Here’s the clearest breakdown based on current reporting:

What’s actually happening

1. Russia is throttling and restricting major apps

Russia’s internet regulator has begun restricting Telegram, one of the country’s most widely used platforms, as part of a broader push toward a tightly controlled “sovereign internet.” Users across the country report widespread disruptions, slowdowns, and failures to load media.

2. Mobile internet outages are now routine

Throughout 2025 and into 2026, dozens of Russian regions have experienced daily mobile internet shutdowns. These blackouts affect:

- Texting and mobile data

- Credit card payments

- ATMs

- Messaging apps

- Even medical devices that rely on mobile networks

Authorities claim the shutdowns are meant to prevent Ukrainian drones from using mobile networks for navigation.

3. Broadband still works, but with heavy censorship.

Home broadband and Wi‑Fi generally remain online, but the government is increasingly blocking or throttling services, pushing citizens toward state‑approved apps and “white‑listed” websites.

4. Cyberattacks and internal failures add to the chaos

On top of state-imposed restrictions, Russia has faced:

- Major cyberattacks on airlines, retailers, and payment systems

- Website crashes

- Service outages across major companies

These disruptions often overlap with government blocks, making the overall experience feel like the internet is constantly breaking.

So… are they “losing” the internet?

Not in the sense of a nationwide collapse, but yes, in the sense that the Russian public is losing reliable, open, functional access to the global internet.

The Kremlin is:

- Throttling apps

- Shutting down mobile networks

- Blocking services

- Pushing citizens onto state-controlled platforms

- Normalizing daily digital outages

It’s less “the internet is failing” and more “the government is deliberately breaking it.”

Well America, this is what we can expect shortly. X is already blocking posts that disagree with Trump

There are a lot of parallels, aren’t there? State run media; well we’re almost there. And the media that is actually trying to do the job have apparently been warned to sanewash orange satan. Censorship on most of the social apps, if it’s against the regime…

Raw America News pops up on Smart News feed. So appreciate stories that do not get the same headline all day and forgotten about 24 hours later with little follow up. Raw gives a continuing narrative with facts.

I've read that since the beginning of January 2025-February 2026 there has been 31, that we know of. There is no transparency on all the thousands deported, or thousands disappeared. Even those sent to the notorious Private Prison for Profit in Ecuador, have no paperwork.

Just have a question about the difference between this and RawStory. I have been a paying subscriber to RawStory for years but keep being asked to become a subscriber to RawAmerica. Why do I need both? Is RawAmerica an offshoot of RawStory? Not complaining, just asking for a clarification from anyone who might know.

I've been pondering THAT exact same question!! I, too, have been a paying subscriber for Raw Story forever it seems like & whenever I can afford it, I always increase the amount I pay.

I'd definitely like an answer to this question!
