I grew up in the era where major family members, friends and neighbors, had

I recall my Dad talking to me about HONOR. He explained that you have to own what your words say and what your actions speak. And if you aren't true with others then you can't know who you really are. He said, when you're in a tough spot; take breath, center
yourself, pause...think...and then speak, truthfully.
When you speak true and honest you will know the meaning of honor, you will feel it inside.
Because "without" honor the world can be a cold and scary place.
I feel pride in myself because I speak the truth. I was taught by an honorable generation.
This is exactly what we need today. As an abandoned veteran, my father taught me the same values: Honor is everything. We fought for a country that was built on truth and sacrifice, not on lies and power games. Without honor, as you said, the world becomes a scary place. I am proud to stand with people like you who still value the truth. Thank you for sharing this
