I disagree with the characterization that this administration had no plans for Iran closing the strait of Hormuz. I believe very strongly that the people backing 47, AKA The heritage foundation, and the oil executives that donated so many millions to 47s re-election knew very well what would happen. This was all orchestrated so that their acquisition of Venezuelan oil would precede the throttling of Middle East oil. This is oil market manipulation at a nuclear level. The problem is that the environmental challenges won’t just impact the companies that cause them. Messing up the Arctic can cause problems that it could take millennia to heal. You can still see scars from things done a hundred years ago, and outsiders don’t understand the subtleties.

Alaska’s North Slope environment is incredibly harsh and environmental degradation lasts half of forever there.
